The cozy sitting room with the wood-burning stove was a delightful touch, especially with the free logs provided. the location, just 22 km away from York, was perfect for exploring the area and the North Yorks National Park. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished with a modern bathroom and a comfortable double bed. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail, making us feel right at home. the free WiFi and private parking were convenient perks that added to the overall experience. I especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the easy access to local facilities, as well as the charming town of Pocklington. the combination of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. Carpenter's Cottage is definitely a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in the Yorkshire countryside.
